CROSS-REFERENCE / ENGINEERING REVIEW
Celesco SP2, SICK & Micro-Epsilon replacement review.
A matching range and output narrow the search. The full installation determines compatibility.
| Installed family | DWP review route | Checks before substitution |
|---|---|---|
| Celesco / TE SP1, SP2-25, SP2-50; UniMeasure LX / PA | DWP-SP string potentiometers | True inch stroke, divider resistance, excitation, wiper load, retract force, mounting |
| SICK BTF08 / BTF13; Kübler draw-wire encoder | DWP-ENC | Drum circumference, HTL / TTL levels, counting mode, bus profile, power-loss position |
| Micro-Epsilon wireSENSOR MK families; Celesco PT; ASM | DWP-POS | Active stroke, loop type, zero / span, connector pinout, speed and sealing |
| Long-range cable transducers | DWP-LNG project review | Cable routing, drum capacity, tension, sag, thermal expansion and field calibration |
SP2-50 means a true 50-inch measuring stroke.
50 inches equals 1,270 mm. A 1,250 mm device covers 49.213 inches. Specify the complete active travel and end reserves before selecting an alternative.
Send the evidence that defines the installation.
Include the original datasheet or nameplate, dimensional drawing, connector pin assignment, controller input, supply voltage, maximum speed, environment and the required error tolerance. A proposed DWP configuration needs mechanical and electrical validation before use.
